  • 1 lit milk
  • 150 gm rice
  • water as required
  • 1 lit milk
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • desi ghee
  • ½ cup sugar
  • saffron as required

    To make Dudhauri, heat milk in a vessel.

    Add washed rice to the milk and mix it well.
  3. 3

    Heat some more milk separately in another pot vessel.
  4. 4

    Add sugar to the rice, after that mash it well in a plate.
  5. 5

    Make small balls (dudhouri) from the mashed rice.
  6. 6

    Heat desi ghee in a pan on low heat.
  7. 7

    Fry the Dudhouri on low flame until it turns golden brown.
  8. 8

    Add sugar in the separate pot vessel, then add the fried Dudhauris in it and serve it with saffron.
