  • 2 tbsp date paste
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts
  • 3 chopped dry apricots
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • roasted
  • cling film for wrapping
  • butter for greasing
  • kachori dough
  • made using equal quantity of refined flour and wheat flour
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small pineapple
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 dry apricots
  • oil for frying
  • sesame seeds for garnish

    For the kachori filling mix date paste, nuts, chopped apricots, honey and roasted sesame seeds. Mix well.

    Grease half portion of the cling film with butter. Flatten the dry fruit mixture on the film apply butter on hands to spread the mixture.

    Cover this mixture with the other half of the cling film.
  4. 4

    Flatten the mixture using a rolling pin. Set aside.
  5. 5

    Roll out the kachori dough. Spread sesame seeds on the rolling board and place this rolled out dough over them.

    Roll again to form a thin dough. Cut into squares. Cut the rolled out dry fruit mixture into triangles. Place them on the dough squares and seal the kachoris.

    Deep fry the kachoris. For the glaze, heat butter in a pan. Quarter the pineapple and add it to the pan. Add 3 dried apricots and honey to the glaze.

    Arrange the kachoris in the serving plate and place the glazed pineapple and apricots in the plate.

    Pour remaining glaze over the kachoris. Garnish with some sesame seeds.
