INGREDIENTS

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1 slice brown bread
  • 2 slices cheese
  • Mayonnaise as required
  • For Filling 1 :5 to 6 lettuce leaves
  • 4 to 5 tbsp red yellow and green bell pepper juliennes
  • 1 cup avocado juliennes
  • 4 to 5 tbsp pesto sauce
  • 2 to 3 tsp lemon juice
  • black pepper powder to taste
  • salt to taste
  • For Filling 2 :4 to 5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 to 4 tbsp pineapple juliennes
  • 3 to 4 tbsp cucumbers juliennes
  • 3 to 4 tbsp pears juliennes
  • 7- 8 cherry chopped Tomatoes
  • For Garnish: Decorative toothpick with olive and salad leaves

HOW TO PREPARE DOUBLE DECKER SANDWICH

    Chop the lettuce leaves into juliennes and add them to a bowl.

    For the first filling, add the juliennes of red, yellow, and green bell peppers, avocado juliennes, pesto sauce, lemon juice, black pepper powder, and salt.

    Mix well.

    For the second filling, combine mayonnaise with pineapple juliennes, cucumber juliennes, pear juliennes, and chopped cherry tomatoes in a bowl.

    Mix well.

    Place the pesto filling on a slice of white bread.

    Top with a cheese slice and cover it with another slice of white bread.

    Spread mayonnaise on top of the top bread slide.

    Add the mayonnaise filling on this bread slice.

    Place another cheese slice on top.

    Cover it with a slice of brown bread.

    Using a knife, discard the crust of the sandwich.

    Cut the sandwich diagonally.

    Garnish the sandwich by piercing a decorative toothpick with salad leaves and olives.

    Arrange sandwiches in a serving plate and serve.
