INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 2 to 3 tbsp dry fruits (cashew nuts
  • pistas and almonds)
  • 1 cup soaked fine rice
  • 3 to 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1½ tsp saffron milk
  • ½ tsp powdered cardamom
  • 2 to 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • water
  • For Garnish: Cashew chopped nuts
  • chopped almonds

HOW TO PREPARE DOODH KI PHIRNI

    Heat butter in a pan and add dry fruits such as cashew nuts pistas and almonds.

    Fry well.
  3. 3

    Add soaked fine rice to it, mix well with sugar, a little water and milk and let it cook on a high flame.

    Keep stirring.

    When the rice is half cooked, add saffron milk, a little cardamom powder and condensed milk and cook some more.

    Transfer the phirni to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped cashew nuts and almonds.
