INGREDIENTS

  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 3 boiled potatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 2-3 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 6-7 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp red chilli paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ¼ cup gram flour
  • 1 Green chilli, slit
  • 1 pav, Salt, Water as required
  • FOR garnish
  • Green chilli fried
  • green chutney
  • red chilli paste

PREPARATION

    Pour a little oil onto a hot pan.

    Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  3. 3

    Saut? the chopped garlic, ginger and onion.
  4. 4

    Mix with the chopped, boiled potatoes.
  5. 5

    Add the red chilli paste, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder.
  6. 6

    Mix and mash well.
  7. 7

    Mix salt and chopped green chillies with the potato masala.
  8. 8

    Transfer to a bowl.
  9. 9

    In another pan, mix the gram flour with water and salt to make a thick batter.

    Shape the potato masala into small balls; dip them in the batter.

    Fry in boiling oil.
  12. 12

    Grease the slit pavs with green chutney.
  13. 13

    Place the fried potato ball inside the pav.
  14. 14

    Garnish with fried green chilli,green chutney and red chilli paste.
