INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • ½ tbsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 green chillies, slit
  • 1 tsp panch phoran masala
  • ½ cup split red lentils, soaked, Water as required
  • ½ cup black gram wadi, soaked
  • FOR accompaniment
  • ½ cup rice flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • 1 tsp oil
  • FOR garnish
  • coriander leaves
  • Coconutgrated
  • jaggery

PREPARATION

    In a pan, add mustard oil, chopped garlic, panch phoran masala, sliced onion, slit green chillies, soaked split red lentils, water, and salt.

    Boil the mixture.
  3. 3

    Once the soup is cooked, add the soaked black gram wadi.
  4. 4

    For the rice flour crepes batter, combine rice flour, and salt in a bowl.
  5. 5

    Mix well.
  6. 6

    In another pan, heat oil and pour the rice flour batter to make a thin crepe.

    Roll the crepe.
  8. 8

    Transfer the soup to a bowl.
  9. 9

    Serve the soup hot with the rolled rice crepe.

    Garnish with coriander leaves, grated coconut, and jaggery.
