INGREDIENTS

  • 3 boiled potatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped
  • ¼ cup split red lentils, boiled
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2-3 tbsp breadcrumbs, Black pepper, powdered, All purpose flour as required, Oil for frying, Salt

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1burger bun
  • 1tomatosliced
  • 1onionsliced
  • mint chutney
  • FOR garnish
  • tomato sauce

PREPARATION

    In a deep bowl, add chopped boiled potatoes, onion, tomato, green chilli, garlic, and boiled split red lentils.

    Mix with red chilli powder, black pepper powder, and salt.

    Mash well.

    Add breadcrumbs.

    Place a little all-purpose flour in a plate for coating the burger.

    Shape the potato-lentil mixture into a patty.

    Coat it with the flour and fry it in boiling oil.

    In a separate pan, toast the burger bun with butter.

    Thinly slice the tomato and the onion.
  10. 10

    Grease the bun with the mint chutney.

    Add the fried patty and sliced tomato and onion.

    Serve with tomato sauce.
