INGREDIENTS

  • 2-3 cups chickpeas, boiled
  • ½ cup fenugreek leaves, chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp parsley leaves, chopped
  • 1-2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1-2 tsp cayenne pepper powder
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder, Salt to taste
  • FOR salad
  • 1tomato
  • 1Lettuce leaf
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp parsley chopped
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • FOR garnish
  • Tahini pastefor decoration
  • Mint leaves
  • sesame oil
  • Tomatoessliced

PREPARATION

    In a mixer, add boiled chickpeas, chopped fenugreek leaves, chopped parsley, cumin powder, cayenne pepper powder, black pepper powder, lemon juice and salt.

    Blend the ingredients to form a soft dough.

    Make small dumplings from the dough.
  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the dumplings.

    Set them aside for cooling on a tissue paper.

    For salad, cut the tomato into fine slices and put into a bowl.

    Finely chop the lettuce leaf and add it to the bowl.

    Add lemon juice, salt and chopped parsley.

    Mix the salad.

    Decorate the serving dish with tahini paste.

    Arrange the falafel and the salad.

    Garnish with mint leaves, sesame oil and tomato slices.
