INGREDIENTS

  • FOR syrup
  • 200 mlcranberry juice
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp black currants chopped
  • FOR sheera
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 3 cloves
  • ½ cup semolina
  • Cranberry juice as required
  • FOR garnish
  • 4-5 rose petals

PREPARATION

    For cranberry syrup, heat a pan.

    Add cranberry juice and sugar.
  3. 3

    Mix well until sugar dissolves in the juice.
  4. 4

    Add chopped black currants when the syrup boils.
  5. 5

    Heat ghee in another pan.
  6. 6

    Add a few cloves and then semolina.
  7. 7

    Mix well and cook for some time on a low flame.
  8. 8

    Add the prepared cranberry syrup to the semolina.
  9. 9

    Mix well.
  10. 10

    Add cranberry juice to this mixture and close the pan with the lid.

    Let it cook for 2 to 3 min.
  12. 12

    Pour more cranberry juice, if required.

    Cook until the mixture thickens.
  14. 14

    Transfer the sheera to a serving bowl.
  15. 15

    Garnish the serving plate and cranberry sheera with rose petals.
