INGREDIENTS

  • 300 gms all purpose flour
  • 150 gms powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp sooji
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cardamon powder
  • salt to taste
  • 150 gms butter
  • 10 ml Hersheys Caramel Syrup
  • FOR For Garnish
  • Hersheys Caramel Flavored Syrup
  • Sliced Pistachio

HOW TO PREPARE DESI VIDESI NAAN KHATAI

    In a bowl, take all purpose flour, powdered sugar, sooji, baking powder, cardamon powder, salt, butter and caramel syrup.

    Mix well to form a dough.

    Make roundels of the dough, place them on a baking tray and flatten a little.
  4. 4

    Using the thumb create a cavity in the center for the stuffing.
  5. 5

    Preheat the oven and bake at 180 degrees for 12-15 mins.

    Remove and let them cool.
  7. 7

    In the cavity, pour some caramel syrup and garnish with some sliced pistachio.
