Date Kachori
Deeply fried kachoris stuffed with dates are totally irresistible. It can be served with tangy tamarind chutney. Date Kachori is a perfect recipe as it is really simple and easy to make for all the people who find it hard to cook.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 gm refined flour
  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • powdered
  • water as required
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • oil for deep frying
  • For Filling :½ cup chopped dates
  • 1 tbsp sugar powdered
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • For Serving :Cranberry sheera
  • For Garnish: Strawberry syrup

HOW TO PREPARE DATE KACHORI

    For the kachori dough combine refined flour, gram flour, ghee, and powdered sugar in a bowl.

    Add water (little at a time) and knead to make a dough.
  3. 3

    Rest the dough for 10 min.
  4. 4

    For the filling, combine chopped dates, powdered sugar, and cardamom powder.
  5. 5

    Mix well.
  6. 6

    Pinch small balls from the dough.
  7. 7

    Dust the surface with powdered sugar.
  8. 8

    You can dust with refined flour as well.

    Using a rolling pin, make puris.
  10. 10

    Fill the date mixture in the puris and seal the sides.

    Roll out again to make kachoris.
  12. 12

    Deep fry kachoris in medium hot oil on a low flame.
  13. 13

    Drain excess oil with a tissue paper.
  14. 14

    Transfer kachoris to the serving plate.
  15. 15

    Garnish the plate with strawberry syrup.
  16. 16

    Serve date kachoris with cranberry sheera.
