INGREDIENTS

  • 10 ginger strings
  • 1/2 kg dates
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1-2 black cardamom
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1 cup raisins

PREPARATION

    A new variety of sweet chutney, prepared with dates, to go alongside pakoras.

    In a saucepan, add dates, ginger strings, ground cinnamon, salt, red chilli powder, vinegar and sugar.

    Stir it well.

    Add black cardamoms, cloves, blanched almonds and raisins.
  5. 5

    Mix all the ingredients well.
  6. 6

    You can use this chutney fresh or later.
