INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp Desi Ghee
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Cardamom Pods
  • 100 gms Daliya
  • 3 cups Water
  • 150 gms Powdered Jaggery
  • Desi Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Grated Fresh Coconut
  • 1/4 cup Roasted Peanuts
  • Peanuts and coconut for garnish

HOW TO PREPARE DALIYA PAYASAM

  1. 1

    Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan, Add cinnamon, cardamom, add daliya, stir for a minute.

    Add water and cook till done.
  3. 3

    Add jaggery and cook till melted and combined.
  4. 4

    Heat another pan heat 1 tbsp ghee and fry coconut and peanuts till light golden brown, Add this to the cooked Daliya.
  5. 5

    Serve.
