  • For dal
  • 100 ml rice brain Oil,
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/2 cup masoor dal
  • 1 cup soaked moong dal
  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt and water
  • 1/2 cup more water
  • For dulhan
  • 6 small dough balls.
  • For tempering
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 3 red chilli

    Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, Then add soaked moong dal and urad dal and mix well.

    Add green chili, turmeric, chili powder, salt and water and cook for 3 whistles.

    Make 6 small balls of wheat flour and fold it in the shape of a flower.

    After three whistles, add some water to the cooker and drop the flour flowers into the dal and let them cook.

    Heat ghee in a pan and add fenugreek seeds and red chillies.

    Once the fenugreek seeds crackle add the tempering to the dal. Dal Ki Dulhan is ready to serve.
