  • 2 cup gram flour (besan)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp asafoetida
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • water as required
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 ½ cup yoghurt
  • sugar as required
  • ½ tbsp garlic paste
  • 2 onions
  • 2 - 3 chillies
  • 400 - 500 ml oil
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 8 - 10 curry leaves
  • 2 - 3 dried red chillies
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

    Add gram flour, salt, asafoetida, red chili, curd and water in a bowl and make a batter.

    Mix oil and sweet soda in a small bowl and mix it in the batter.

    In a separate bowl, make a mixture of curd, salt, sugar, water, and garlic paste.

    Add finely chopped chillies and onions in gram flour mixture, after that make small muffins (Phulki) and fry the muffins (phulkis) in the oil.

    Separate the fried muffins (Phulkis) and mix it in the curd.

    Fry the curry leaves, red chillies and cumin seeds in the pan oil and pour it in the curd pan.

    Serve it immediately.
