INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup leftover daal, gram flour - as required
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida, Salt to taste, bread slices - as required
  • 2 tsp oil

HOW TO PREPARE DAAL TOAST

  1. 1

    In a bowl, take the leftover daal, gram flour as required, red chili powder, asafoetida and salt.

    Mix it well.
  3. 3

    Apply the mixture on one side of the bread slice.
  4. 4

    At oil in a non-stick pan and cook the bread slice with the mixture side down first.
  5. 5

    Cook on both sides until crispy and golden brown.
  6. 6

    Cut diagonally and serve hot.
