  • 1 1/2 cup rice
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 cup curd
  • 2 tbsp carrots
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • 2 green chillies
  • 7-8 curry leaves

    In a bowl, take uncooked rice.

    Add milk and mix it well.

    Add curd and mix it well.

    Add grated carrots, grated ginger and a pinch of salt.

    Keep it aside.

    In a saucepan, take oil.

    add urad dal, mustard seeds, chopped green chillies, a pinch of asafoetida and curry leaves.

    Saute it for 2-3 minutes.

    Add the tempering to your curd rice and mix it well.

    Curd Rice is ready to serve.
