INGREDIENTS

  • 100 ml water
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp fennels seeds
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • to taste salt
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cucumber (thick slices)
  • 1 onion
  • 200 gm mild cheddar cheese
  • 50 gm butter
  • 1 loaf baguette
  • 50 gms chicken ham
  • 1 grilled chicken breast / (marinated with salt pepper
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 slices cheese
  • For garnish
  • mayonnaise
  • red thai chillies
  • lettuce leaves
  • pickled dill

PREPARATION

    Heat the grilling pan. In a pan, add water, vinegar, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, sugar, salt as per taste, star anise, black pepper, cucumber slices.

    Add sliced onions. Add the onions and cucumber in a bowl.

    Add cheese in the same pan and let it soak the flavours of spices.

    Add the cheese in a bowl.

    Slit the bread, apply the mustard paste, butter. Add the pickled cheese, cucumber and onion, chicken ham, grilled chicken breast.

    Add mayonnaise, cheese slices. Layer with bread slice.

    Add oil to the heated grilling pan, add the sandwich and let it grill until it turns golden brown. Slice the sandwich.

    Garnish with red chilli, lettuce leaves and pickle sauce.
