  • RICE FLOOR -1CUP
  • WATER1 1/2 CUP
  • SHREDDED COCONUT -1/2 CUP
  • CHHENNA-1/2 CUP
  • GUD 1CUP
  • SMALL CARDAMOM AND BLACK PEEPER POWER-1 TBSP

PREPARATION

    FOR STUFFING - IN A FRYING PAN TAKE THE SHREDDED COCONUT,CHENA ,GUD AND THE FRY FOR 5-6 MIN,THEN ADD THE POWDER AND REMOVE FROM THE FLAME .

    BOIL 1/2 CUP OF WATER IN DEEP PAN ,MIX 1/2 CUP OF RICE FLOOR WITH REST OF WATER AGAIN CONTINUE MIXING THE FLOOR TO THE PAN SLOWLY TO AVOID ANY LUMPS .COOK IT IN SLOW FLAME TILL IT BECAME A STIFF DOUGH .

    MAKE SMALL BALLS OUT OF IT WHEN IT COOL DOWN AND USE YOUR PALM TO MAKE IT SOFT AND FLATTEN.

    THEN PUT THE STUFFING INTO IT THEN CLOSE IT MAKE A ROUND SHAPE .

    NOW U CAN EITHER STEAM IT FOR 5-7 MINUTES IN A STEAMER OR IDLY STAND .IT IS READY TO EAT NOIT IS POPULARLY KNOWN AS "SIJHA MANDA" .

    OTHERWISE YOU CAN ALSO DEEP FRY THE BALLS IN HOT GHEE OR OIL TILL GOLDEN BROWN FROM EACH SIDNOW IT IS READY TO SERVE .
