  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 to 3 tbsp icing sugar
  • 2 tsp almond essence
  • 4 to 5 tsp fresh cream
  • 2½ tbsp refined flour
  • salt
  • White cream cheese
  • Pink cream cheese
  • Yellow cream cheese
  • Colourful toppings

    Separate egg whites and yolks. Add butter to the egg whites and beat well. Add a little icing sugar almond essence, fresh cream, and a pinch of salt. Beat again. To this mixture, add some refined flour and beat again. In a hot pan, pour a very little portion of the batter and swirl the pan to get the batter in perfect round and thin shape. Cook on both sides till the sides become brown colour. Apply some oil on the outer bottom side of a bowl. Place the cooked chilla on the reverse side of the bowl where oil is applied, and press well. Make it into a canapé shape. Make a few more canapés. Fill the canapés with white, yellow, and pink cream cheese separately. Garnish with some colourful toppings and serve.
