Corn & Spinach Patti Samosa
Kids often dislike spinach. But that doesn't mean you keep this healthy vegetable off their diet. Here’s an innovative snack recipe that combines corn and spinach into a yummy samosa. It makes for a good option for your kid's tiffin. Oh, and fun party snacks too.

INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Samosa Patti dough
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 3 to 4 tbsp hot oil
  • Water
  • FOR For samosa filling
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • ½ cup onions
  • ½ cup corn
  • ½ cup spinach boiled
  • salt
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp fenugreek dried
  • green chutney
  • corn starch and water mixture
  • FOR For frying
  • 3 cups refined oil

HOW TO PREPARE CORN & SPINACH PATTI SAMOSA

    Knead a stiff dough by combining wheat flour refined flour, hot oil, and water.

    For the filling, heat oil in a pan, sauté butter, cumin seeds, chopped garlic and onions.
  3. 3

    Add boiled spinach, corn, salt, coriander powder, and red chilli powder.
  4. 4

    Mix well and cook till done.

    Roll out the dough and cut into strips, fold the strips and stuff the filling, seal with the corn starch and water mixture.

    Deep fry the samosas and plate with green chutney.
