INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup refined flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp clarified butter
  • Coconut milk
  • refined flour

  • oil for frying
  • salt
  • Icing sugar
  • Maple syrup

HOW TO PREPARE COCONUT PUFFS

  1. 1

    Take some refined flour in a bowl and add a little baking powder sugar and a pinch of salt.
  2. 2

    Prepare a dough by mixing it with a little clarified butter and coconut milk.
  3. 3

    Dust the dough with refined flour and flatten the dough with a roller.
  4. 4

    Cut the flattened dough into medium sized rectangular shapes.
  5. 5

    Grease each piece with coconut milk.
  6. 6

    Join the edges of the rectangles of each piece together and seal them.
  7. 7

    On a pan, heat oil and fry these puffs until they turn brown.
  8. 8

    Once fried transfer them to a serving dish.
  9. 9

    Sprinkle some icing sugar on the top and drizzle maple syrup on them to make the puffs more appealing.
