INGREDIENTS

  • For Kulcha
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • Water
  • Kasuri Methi
  • For Chole
  • 1 cup White Peas
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 Tomato
  • ½ onion
  • 1 tbsp Coriander
  • 1 tsp Tamarind
  • 1 Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp green Chutney
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • Salt
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder

PREPARATION

    For kulcha combine all purpose flour, 2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp sugar, salt, 2 tbsp yogurt, water to make a soft dough.

    Keep the dough for half an hour to ferment.
  3. 3

    Make small balls of the dough and roll small thick roti.
  4. 4

    Sprinkle water, add kasuri methi and keep aside to ferment.
  5. 5

    Cook the kulcha on a pan from both the side till done.

    For chole soak white peas for few hours and cook them till soft.
  7. 7

    Add chopped ginger, chopped green chilli, chopped tomato, chopped onion.

    chopped coriander.
  9. 9

    Tamarind.

    Lemon juice.

    green chutney, red chilli powder, salt, garam masala powder, coriander powder and mix it well.

    Serve chole with kulcha.
