INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp green chillies
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp dry mango powder
  • 2 to 3 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 3 to 4 tbsp gram flour
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 to 3 tsp Curd
  • 1 tbsp green chutney
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds roasted
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • salt
  • Curd
  • tamarind chutney
  • Nylon sev
  • Mint leaves
  • Green chillies

HOW TO PREPARE CHOLA TIKKI

    In a bowl take the boiled chickpeas and mash them well by hand.

    To it add chopped green chillies, salt, chat masala, roasted cumin powder, dry mango powder and sesame seeds.

    Mix again with the hand and make small fine shapes of tikkis.
  4. 4

    Coat them with gram flour.
  5. 5

    Heat ghee in a pan and fry the gram flour coated mixture in this until it turns brownish in colour.

    Take an equal quantity of curd in two separate bowls.
  7. 7

    Mix the curd in one bowl with green chutney chat masala and roasted cumin powder.

    Add roasted sesame seeds and lemon juice to the other bowl with curd and mix well.

    Remove the tikkis from the pan when fried.
  10. 10

    In the serving dish, add both types of curd mixes separately.
  11. 11

    Place the tikkis on top of the curd layers.
  12. 12

    Serve the tikkis by garnishing with curd, tamarind chutney, nylon sev, mint leaves and green chillies.
