Chocolate Pudding with Strawberry Sauce

  • FOR Chocolate Pudding
  • 250 gm chocolates
  • 150 gm unsalted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup Refined flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • Caster sugar
  • water
  • FOR Strawberry Sauce
  • 10 to 12 strawberries
  • 400 ml condensed milk
  • 2 star anise
  • salt
  • water
  • Strawberry

    For the chocolate pudding melt the butter and the chocolate in a double boiler and set aside.

    In a bowl, break three eggs.
  3. 3

    Add sugar and whisk them well.
  4. 4

    In another bowl, add the refined flour and the cocoa powder and mix well.
  5. 5

    Add the melted chocolate mixture with the whisked egg and fold it in.
  6. 6

    Then add the refined flour mixture and mix well.
  7. 7

    Add the prepared pudding in the moulds and place them in a baking tray.
  8. 8

    Fill the baking tray with some water and cover it with an aluminium foil.
  9. 9

    Bake in a pre heated oven at 180'C for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Dust the chocolate pudding with the caster sugar and garnish with a strawberry.

    For the strawberry sauce, chop the strawberries into halves.
  12. 12

    Transfer them to a pan add water and heat.
  13. 13

    Add salt condensed milk and star anises to the pan and mix well.
  14. 14

    Put the mixture in a blender and blend to make a smooth and beautiful sauce.
  15. 15

    Serve the sauce with the chocolate pudding.
