INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • Chocolate syrup
  • water
  • For Filling :2 to 3 tbsp ghee
  • 2 to 3 tbsp jaggery grated
  • 3 to 4 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp dry fruit powder
  • 7 to 8 Canned cherries

HOW TO PREPARE CHOCOLATE MODAK

    Add some water in a heated pan.
  2. 2

    Pour the milk in the water.
  3. 3

    Let it boil.
  4. 4

    While it boils add a spoonful of ghee.
  5. 5

    Pour some chocolate syrup to the milk.
  6. 6

    Add some rice flour and mix well to make a dough.
  7. 7

    Rest the dough for some time.
  8. 8

    For the filling, heat some ghee in another pan.
  9. 9

    Add grated jaggery grated coconut, cardamom powder, and dry fruits powder.

    Mix well on a low flame.
  11. 11

    Add some canned cherries.
  12. 12

    Mash them and mix with the filling.
  13. 13

    Turn off the flame and let the filling cool.
  14. 14

    In a modak mould, add a little portion of the dough.
  15. 15

    Fill the stuffing and then remove the modak from the mould.
  16. 16

    Make all modaks.
  17. 17

    Steam the modaks for 10 min.
  18. 18

    Transfer to a plate and serve.
