  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • Chocolate syrup
  • water
  • For Filling 2 to 3 tbsp ghee
  • 2 to 3 tbsp jaggery grated
  • 3 to 4 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp dry fruit powder
  • 7 to 8 Canned cherries

    Add some water in a heated pan. Pour the milk in the water. Let it boil. While it boils add a spoonful of ghee. Pour some chocolate syrup to the milk. Add some rice flour and mix well to make a dough. Rest the dough for some time. For the filling, heat some ghee in another pan. Add grated jaggery grated coconut, cardamom powder, and dry fruits powder. Mix well on a low flame. Add some canned cherries. Mash them and mix with the filling. Turn off the flame and let the filling cool. In a modak mould, add a little portion of the dough. Fill the stuffing and then remove the modak from the mould. Make all modaks. Steam the modaks for 10 min. Transfer to a plate and serve.
