Chocolate Mint Cookies

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 to 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 to 2 tsp mint essence
  • 2 to 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • salt to taste
  • For Garnish: Tutti frutti
  • Icing sugar
  • Mint leaves

    In a bowl whisk the eggs.
  2. 2

    Add butter sugar, and mint essence and whisk again.
  3. 3

    In another bowl, mix all purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

    Add this mixture to the egg mixture.
  5. 5

    Knead and make a dough.
  6. 6

    Cover the dough in an aluminium foil and refrigerate.
  7. 7

    The dough will harden after refrigeration.
  8. 8

    Pinch a little portion from the dough and shape the cookie.
  9. 9

    Make other cookies similarly.
  10. 10

    Place the cookies in a baking tray.
  11. 11

    Make a pattern on the cookies with the back of a fork.

    Bake for 15 min at 180 C.

    Transfer the baked chocolate cookies to a serving plate.
  14. 14

    Garnish with tutti frutti and icing sugar.
  15. 15

    Place the mint leaves in the plate and serve the cookies.
