Chocolate Lava
Dig into these delicious and creamy chocolate lava cakes for a melting fudge experience

INGREDIENTS

  • 135 gm dark chocolate pieces
  • 95 gm salted butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 35 gm Refined flour, Butter, for brushing
  • 1-2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • FOR garnish
  • Crumbled nuts
  • Chocolate sauce

HOW TO PREPARE CHOCOLATE LAVA

    In a double boiler, add the dark chocolate and the salted butter.
  2. 2

    Let them melt.
  3. 3

    In a bowl, add the egg yolks, eggs, vanilla extract and caster sugar.
  4. 4

    Whisk them well and add the refined flour.
  5. 5

    Add the melted chocolate in the bowl.
  6. 6

    Brush the silicone mould with some butter.
  7. 7

    Add cocoa powder and then turn the mould upside down to dust the cocoa powder out.
  8. 8

    Pour the mixture in the moulds till half full and put a small piece of chocolate in each mould.
  9. 9

    Place the silicone mould in a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 C for 10-15 minutes.
  10. 10

    Unmould the baked chocolate lava cakes.
  11. 11

    Garnish with crumbled nuts and chocolate sauce.
