Chocolate Fondant
This sweet and smooth fondant is quite irresistible.

  • 250 gm chocolate
  • 250 gm butter
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup refined flour
  • Butter
  • Icing sugar


  1. 1

    In a double boiler take an equal quantity of chocolate and butter.

    Melt these and allow the mixture to cool.
  3. 3

    Take some icing sugar in a bowl.
  4. 4

    Add to it eggs and whisk well.
  5. 5

    Pour this into the melted chocolate butter mix.
  6. 6

    Blend these with a spoon.
  7. 7

    Add some refined flour to it and mix again.
  8. 8

    Grease the baking moulds with butter.
  10. 10

    Pour the cold chocolate batter into these moulds and bake it in a pre heated oven at 180 C to 200 C for 10 to 12 minutes.

    Transfer the fondants to a serving plate.

    Sprinkle some icing sugar for garnish.
