HOW TO PREPARE CHILLI LOTUS STEM

    Heat oil in a frying pan.

    Coat the lotus stem with cornflour and deep fry them till they get crispy.

    Take some oil in a saucepan.

    Add chopped spring onions (green), chopped carrots and chopped red bell peppers.
  5. 5

    Saut� them.
  6. 6

    Add chilli flakes, honey, tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soy sauce and salt to the mixture.

    Cook for 5-6 minutes.
  8. 8

    Toss in the fried lotus stems into the mixture in the saucepan and mix them well.
  9. 9

    Eat the lotus stems when they are hot, fresh and crispy.
