  • For Chicken
  • 1 - 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 6 - 7 chopped walnuts
  • 3 tbsp refined flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • salt satsivi
  • For satsivi
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 2 - 3 green chilli
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • For garnish
  • rosemary sprigs
  • curry powder

    In a blender jar, add walnuts, chopped garlic, green chilli, lemon juice, olive oil and prepare a paste.

    In a heated pan, add olive oil and let it heat. Prick the chicken using a knife and add it in the pan. Let the chicken seal until it turns light brown.

    In the same pan, add bay leaf, finely chopped onions and stir it. Add finely chopped celery. walnuts, refined flour and mix it. Add milk, chicken stock, satsivi paste and mix it well and let it cook for 4 - 5 minutes.

    Add the chicken pieces in the pan and let it cook for 12 - 14 minutes on a slow flame. Add salt as per taste, olive oil and mix it.

    Garnish the Chicken with Satsivi with rosemary and a pinch of curry powder while serving.
