INGREDIENTS

  • 600 gm leg boneless chicken
  • salt as per taste
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 1/2 lime juice
  • 1 cup hung curd
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 100 gm butter
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 3 green cardamom
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp kasuri methi powder
  • 100 ml cream

PREPARATION

    Marinate the chicken with salt, ginger-garlic paste, lime juice and leave it for 30 minutes.

    In a bowl, add hung curd and whisk it. Add ginger-garlic paste, salt, lime juice and mix it. In another bowl, add mustard oil, Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix it.

    Add the chilli mixture in the curd and mix it well. Add the marinated chicken and mix it well. Add the chicken in the skewer and grill it.

    In a heated pan, add oil, butter, black cardamom, bay leaf, green cardamom, cloves and roast it. Add chopped onion and saute.

    Add chopped ginger, garlic and stir it. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, tomato puree and stir it.

    Add the roasted tikka and mix it well. Add water and let it cook. Add salt as per taste, sugar, butter, kasuri methi powder, cream and mix it.

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
