INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup chicken pieces (boneless)
  • 2 tbsp refined flour
  • ½ tsp sage (dried)
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 to 4 tbsp milk
  • oil for frying
  • Lettuce leaves chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise mixed with mustard powder
  • red chilli flakes

HOW TO PREPARE CHICKEN POPCORN

  1. 1

    To a bowl add dried sage, onion powder, oregano, garlic powder, pepper powder, powdered sugar, kashmiri red chilli powder and refined flour and mix well.

    Add egg white to milk in a separate bowl and whisk it well.
  3. 3

    Add the chicken pieces (all the moisture from the chicken must be removed) in the flour mixture and strain it to remove the extra flour.
  4. 4

    Add the chicken chunks in milk and egg white mixture remove them and again mix in the flour mixture and strain them once again.
  5. 5

    Fry the chunks in hot oil for a minute and the chicken popcorn is ready.
  6. 6

    Place it on the absorbent paper.
  7. 7

    Garnish with lettuce leaves chilli flakes and mayonnaise (mixed with mustard powder) on top of the popcorn.
