Chicken Kadhai

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 tsp coriander seeds
  • 5 tsp black pepper
  • 5 tsp cumin seeds
  • 10 kashmiri red chillies
  • 5 tsp dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 cup tomatoes puree
  • 1 1/2 tbsp kadhai masala
  • 250 grams boneless chicken
  • bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup tomato
  • coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE CHICKEN KADHAI

  1. 1

    In a pan, add coriander seeds, black pepper, cumin seeds and dry roast it. Add Kashmiri red chillies, dry fenugreek leaves and mix it. Blend the mixture. Add garam masala, salt and mix it.

    In a heated pan, add olive oil, finely chopped onion and cook it until it turns golden. Add ginger - garlic paste and saute. Add finely chopped ginger, green chilli and mix.

    Add finely chopped tomato, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt as per taste and mix it. Add tomato puree, kadhai masala and mix.

    Add water, boneless chicken and mix it. Add diced, bell pepper, onion and mix. Switch off the gas and add diced tomatoes, kadhai masala and mix.
  5. 5

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
