INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Coriander seeds 3 teaspoons
  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Methi seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • 5 peppercorns
  • Red chillies 15
  • Lime sized tamarind
  • Ghee for frying
  • Oil 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves for garnish
  • Salt 2 teaspoons
  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

PREPARATION

    Roast all the ingredients in oil .

    Grind the roasted ingredients with tamarind and little water to a fine but thick paste .
  3. 3

    Marinate the cleaned chicken with the ground paste , salt and a teaspoon of sugar. Keep for an hour.

    Add ghee in a pan. Fry the marinated chicken along with the paste . Once cooked remove to a bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves .
