INGREDIENTS

  • For cashew nut stalk
  • water
  • 4 - 5 cloves
  • 1 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 500 gm chicken
  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts
  • For chicken ghee roast
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1 cup red chilli paste
  • salt
  • 1 tsp jaggery
  • 1/4 tsp tamrind paste

PREPARATION

    Heat water in a pot and add cloves, black peppercorns, chicken and cashew nuts. Boil until the chicken is cooked.
  2. 2

    Remove the chicken pieces and blend the cashew nuts and spices using a blender.
  3. 3

    Heat ghee in a pan, add chilli mixture, chicken pieces and cashew nut mixture and saute.
  4. 4

    Add ghee, salt, jaggery, tamrind paste and cook again. Chicken Ghee Roast is ready to serve.
