INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Chicken Chop
  • 200 gm cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tsp kasundi
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Crushed black pepper to taste
  • 2 chopped green chillies chopped
  • ½ tsp All ground spice
  • 1 boiled potato and mashed
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • Salt
  • 1 to 2 tbsp oil
  • FOR Sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp nigella seeds
  • 1 cup onions sliced
  • 1 Green chilli slit
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp mustard and poppy seed paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Water
  • FOR Coating
  • 4 Eggs
  • Salt
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup poppy seeds
  • Coriander sprig
  • Crushed black pepper

HOW TO PREPARE CHICKEN CHOP

    For chicken chops combine shredded and cooked chicken, onion, kasundi, turmeric powder, crushed black pepper powder, chopped green chillies, all ground spice, mashed potato, and yogurt, salt.

    Mix well.
  3. 3

    Make small patties from the mixture.
  4. 4

    In a bowl, whisk eggs and salt.
  5. 5

    In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs and poppy seeds.
  6. 6

    Coat the patties in the egg mixture and then in the breadcrumb mixture.

    Heat oil in a pan and sear the patties from both sides.
  8. 8

    Then, bake the seared patties at 200 to 220 C for 3 min.

    For the sauce, heat mustard oil in a pan.
  10. 10

    Add chopped onions cumin seeds, nigella seeds slit green chilli, salt, ginger garlic paste, mustard and poppy seed paste, turmeric powder, and water.

    Mix well.

    Serve chicken chops with the prepared sauce.

    Garnish with coriander sprigs and crushed black pepper.
