INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp onions
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 cup minced chicken
  • 2 tbsp meat masala
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp diced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp red and yellow bell peppers
  • 2 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 3 cup flour
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg

PREPARATION

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 tbsp garlic, 1 tbsp onions, 2 tbsp tomato puree, 1 cup minced chicken and sauté well. Add 2 tbsp meat masala, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric and salt for seasoning. Add 2 tbsp diced mushrooms, 2 tbsp red and yellow bell peppers, 2 tsp red chilli flakes, 1 tsp mixed herbs and stir well. Sprinkle chopped parsley. Take 3 cup flour, 1 tsp salt and add water as per requirement to make a soft dough. Rest the dough for 15 minutes. Cut a piece of the dough and roll into the shape of a circular disc and place it in the baking dish. Pour the mixture and add some grated mozzarella cheese on the top. Brush the edges of the disc with egg wash. Cover the mixture with a rolled dough sheet and seal the edges. Brush the upper surface of the sheet with egg wash. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180'C for the first 10 minutes and reduce the temperature to 150'C for the next 15 minutes. Chicken Calzone is ready.
