INGREDIENTS

  • For Burger
  • 8 burger buns
  • 2 to 3 tbsp oil
  • For Filling
  • 1 cup chicken
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • ½ tbsp garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 cup mushroom chopped
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 red bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper finely chopped
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • black pepper powder to taste
  • salt
  • water
  • 2 to 3 tbsp oil
  • For Preparation
  • 4 to 5 lettuce leaves
  • 1 cup coleslaw
  • 8 cheese slices
  • sliced Tomatoes
  • toothpick

PREPARATION

    Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion and saut till it turns pink. Next add chopped garlic and saute again. Also add chopped tomato chopped mushroom and grated carrots and turn off the flame when the vegetables become dry. In a bowl, take minced chicken, chopped red, green and yellow bell peppers, grated cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, paprika, powdered pepper, red chilli flakes, cumin powder, cooked vegetables, half an egg and mix well. Heat a grill pan and pour some oil. Wet your hands and make roundels of the mixture and flatten them a little and fry them. Cut the burger buns horizontally into two and toast them on the same grill pan. Top up the burger buns with lettuce leaves, patty, coleslaw, cheese slice, tomato and cover them with the other half of the buns. Insert a toothpick in the centre of the bun to hold it with the ingredients.
