  • For Chhena Payesh
  • 1-litre milk
  • 1 cup of water
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 250-gram paneer
  • 1/2 cup khoya
  • 1 tsp kewra essence
  • cardamom powder
  • For Malai Ladoo
  • 1 block paneer
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tsp kewra essence
  • cardamom powder
  • saffron strands
  • slices of pistachios

    In a heated pan, add milk and let it cook. In another pan, add water, sugar, paneer and let it cook.

    Strain the sugar syrup in a bowl. Add the chenna in the milk. Add khoya, sugar and let it cook for 10 -15 minutes. Add kewra essence, cardamom powder, mix it and leave it to cool.

    In a heated pan, add mashed paneer, condensed milk, mix it and let it cook. Add cardamom powder, kewra essence and mix it well. Add the mixture in a plate and let it cool down.

    Prepare small ladoo. Add saffron strands, a slice of pistachio and cardamom powder.

    Serve the Chenna Payesh in a bowl and garnish with slices of pistachio and cardamom powder.
