INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup juliennes cabbage
  • 1 cup juliennes bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp chopped black olives
  • 1 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 slices brown bread

HOW TO PREPARE CHECKERED SANDWICH

    In a bowl, add 1 cup julienned cabbage, 1 cup julienned bell peppers, 1 tbsp chopped black olives, 1 tbsp grated cheese and mix well.

    Apply butter on 4 slices of white bread and brown bread.
  3. 3

    On a chopping board, place a brown bread slice, place the stuffing followed by a slice of white bread.
  4. 4

    Place the stuffing on the white bread slice followed by a brown bread slice.
  5. 5

    Repeat the process and place a white bread slice on it.
  6. 6

    Trim the sides of the sandwich and cut into 4 parts.
