INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ cup rice flour
  • salt pinch
  • water
  • 2 to 3 tbsp jaggery
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Cardamom powder pinch
  • 2 tbsp Dry grated coconut
  • watermelon sliced
  • 1 tbsp jaggery

PREPARATION

    In a bowl knead a dough using rice flour, salt, and water. Make dumplings from the dough. In a pan, heat water and cook rice dumplings for 10 to 12 min. Melt jaggery in another pan. Add coconut milk and cardamom powder to the pan and mix well. Fill the cooked rice dumplings in the seviyan maker and make seviyan on a colocasia leaf. Serve the seviyan with the prepared coconut milk. Garnish seviyan with dry grated coconut, jaggery, and slices of watermelon.
