  • FOR Chatpata Lauki
  • 8 slices bottle gourd
  • immersed in water
  • 3 to 4 tbsp rice flour
  • 2 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • FOR Marinade
  • 2 to 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • salt to taste
  • FOR Dip
  • 2 to 3 tbsp green chutney
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • FOR Garnish
  • Red chilli flakes
  • Yogurt
  • coriander leaves

    To marinate the bottle gourd slices drain and place them in a big bowl , add vegetable oil, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala and salt.

    Toss and mix well.
  3. 3

    Dust the bottle gourd slices with the rice flour.
  4. 4

    Heat a grill pan and roast the marinated bottle gourd slices on both sides.
  5. 5

    Drizzle oil on the slices if they start becoming dry.
  6. 6

    For the dip, in a bowl, add green chutney and yogurt.
  7. 7

    Whisk the mixture.
  8. 8

    Serve the dip in a plate and arrange the roasted bottle gourd pieces around it.

    Garnish with red chilli flakes, dip, and coriander leaves.
