INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gm split bengal gram
  • salt
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 cup curd
  • fresh oriander leaves

PREPARATION

    Cook split bengal gram with water.
  2. 2

    Add salt, turmeric powder, fennel seeds and cook till done.
  3. 3

    Strain the cooked dal and keep aside to cool down.
  4. 4

    Crush mustard seeds in a mortar paste.
  5. 5

    Mix mustard seeds powder in curd.
  6. 6

    Mix the curd in chana dal and mix well.
  7. 7

    Serve Chana Dal with Rice.
