Chamba Fried Fish With Chukkh

INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Fried Fish
  • Fish as required
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt & Water
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 3 to 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 50 gms Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • ½ Cup Besan
  • Oil for frying
  • FOR Chukkh
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 to 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 16 Kashmiri Red Chilli's
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • ½ tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • ½ tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp carom seeds
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • 1 tbsp Tamarind Pulp
  • 2 tbsp Dry Mango powder
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • A pinch of Asafoetida

HOW TO PREPARE CHAMBA FRIED FISH WITH CHUKKH

    For Fried Fish:{Mix Lemon juice, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Salt, Water and make a paste

    Apply the paste on the fish inside outside
  3. 3

    Marinate for an hour
  4. 4

    Make a paste of Ginger, Garlic, Coriander Leaves and Green Chillies
  5. 5

    Apply the paste generously on fish
  6. 6

    Slightly coat fish Beson
  7. 7

    Deep fry fish till crisp and golden brown
  8. 8

    Chamba Fried Fish is ready
  9. 9

    For Chukkh:{Make paste deseeded and boiled Kashmiri Red Chillies, Onion, Garlic, Green Chillies and Ginger

    dry roast Fennel, Fenugreek seeds, Mustard seeds, carom seed, Cumin seeds and make powder
  11. 11

    Add powder masala in Mustard Oil and sauté
  12. 12

    Add Red Chillies paste and sauté
  13. 13

    Add Raisins, Tamarind Pulp and mix well
  14. 14

    Add Dry Mango powder, Honey and Salt as per taste
  15. 15

    Add pinch of Asafoetida and cook for sometime
  16. 16

    Serve Fried Fish With Chukkh
