INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Urad Dal
  • ½ cup Black Eyed Beans
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 Dry Red chillies
  • 1 tsp Black Peppers
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp Garlic
  • Water
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder

PREPARATION

    In a pan dry roast Urad Dal and black eyed beans and make a powder in a grinder. In a pan warm oil, add dry red chillies, black peppers, cumin seeds, asafoetida, garlic, daal powder and fry. Add water, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, mix and let it cook of low flame for 10 to 15 minutes. Once daal is cooked add garam masala powder. Garnish Chainsoo with ghee and serve hot.
