This traditional Canadian dish takes fries to a whole new mouth watering level.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gm yam
  • 2 to 3 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • black salt

HOW TO PREPARE CANADIAN POUTINE

    Fry the potatoes to make crispy fries.

    Transfer the fries to a serving plate.
  3. 3

    Heat the pan.
  4. 4

    Add equal quantity of butter and all purpose flour.
  5. 5

    Blend it stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  6. 6

    Add chopped garlic into this mixture.
  7. 7

    Pour adequate quantity of vegetable stock.
  8. 8

    Whisk it thoroughly.
  9. 9

    Sprinkle salt and black pepper powder.
  10. 10

    Pour this gravy on the fries.
  11. 11

    Garnish with potato fritters and mint sprig.
