  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup Chopped Shallots
  • 1/2 tsp Chopped Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Chopped Ginger
  • 1tsp Chopped Green Chilli
  • 2 - 3 no Green Cardamom seeds
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick 2 Bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 Turmeric Powder
  • Balck Pepper And Salt
  • 1/2 Soaked Split Red Lentil
  • 1 Cup Grated Carrot
  • 1/2 Grated Potato
  • 1/2 Grated Apple
  • 1 Cup diced red bell pepper
  • 3 Cups Vegetable stock
  • 1 Tbsp Tamarind Paste
  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 1tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Boiled Rice

    Beat 125 gms butter with 100 gms brown sugar and 150 gms caster sugar. Add 2 eggs, 2 tbsp flour, 1 tsp Vanilla Extract and beat again. Take 225 gms flour, 50 gms cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 baking soda in a bowl and mix them well. Add this mixture to the wet ingredients and add 1/2 tsp Orange Zest and 2-3 tbsp orange juice. Now add 200 ml hot water and beat the mixture. Take a baking tine, line with butter paper and grease with oil. Pour the mixture and bake it in in a preheated oven at 150-160'C for 35-40 minutes. Heat a saucepan and take 25gms butter, 25 gms cocoa powder, 200 gms icing sugar, 4 tbsp milk and mix well till the sugar melts. The icing is ready. Let the cake cool and demould it. Remove the butter paper and pour the icing.
