INGREDIENTS

  • 2 burger buns
  • 4 to 5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 to 5 lettuce leaves
  • 5 to 7 slices Cucumber
  • 5 to 7 slices tomato
  • 3 to 4 tbsp thousand island sauce
  • 4 to 5 tbsp alfalfa sprouts
  • 3 to 4 slices cheese
  • For Patties olive oil as required
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 2 to 3 tbsp chopped onions
  • 1 cup mixed sprouts blanched
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 to 3 tbsp multigrain flour
  • Bread crumbs for coating
  • salt to taste
  • oil as required

PREPARATION

    Heat olive oil in a pan. Saute chopped ginger garlic, onions, and blanched sprouts. Mix well. Season with coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix again. Grind the mixture and transfer to a plate. Add multigrain flour to the ground mixture and mix well. Make small patties from the mixture. Coat the patties with breadcrumbs. Heat oil on a tava. Cook the patties until done on both sides. Horizontally halve the burger buns and toast. Apply mayonnaise on the toasted bun slices. Assemble the burger by stacking lettuce leaves cucumber slices, tomato slices, patty, thousand island sauce, alfalfa sprouts, and cheese slice. Close the burger with the upper half of the bun. Pierce a decorative vegetable toothpick in the burger and serve.
