INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Bottle Gourd Thepla
  • ½ Bottle Gourd
  • salt
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp Coriander leaves
  • 3 to 4 tsp Flour
  • 2 tsp Green chilli paste
  • 2 tsp curd
  • Lukewarm water
  • FOR The Curd Mixture
  • Curd
  • Green chilli paste
  • oil
  • salt
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped

HOW TO PREPARE BOTTLE GOURD THEPLA

    Peel the bottle gourd remove the seeds and after grating it, put it in a bowl.

    Add salt, turmeric powder, carom seeds, white sesame seeds and chopped coriander leaves.
  3. 3

    Mix well and add wheat flour.
  4. 4

    Mix again.
  5. 5

    Add green chilli paste, curd and lukewarm water.
  6. 6

    Knead to form a dough.
  7. 7

    Make small dumplings, sprinkle flour and roll them out to prepare theplas.
  8. 8

    Cut them into different shapes and sizes.
  9. 9

    Heat a pan and roast the theplas on both sides.
  10. 10

    Apply clarified butter as required.
  11. 11

    Prepare a curd mixture by mixing green chilli paste, oil, salt and chopped coriander leaves, with it.

    Decorate the serving dish with the curd mixture and arrange the theplas.
  13. 13

    Sprinkle white sesame seeds.
  14. 14

    Garnish with coriander and curd.
